Conor McGregor: 'I'm coming back with a vengeance'

Conor McGregor makes his octagon return on July 29th in the UFC 303 main event against Michael Chandler.  It’s only a month until the event, which has already broken the promotion’s record for highest gate.  

The former two-division champ will be more than three years old when he steps into the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to face Chandler.  He broke his leg in the closing seconds of the first round in his trilogy fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 in July 2021.    

McGregor is ready to return to his roots now that he has recovered and all filming obligations are over.  McGregor wants to fight at least three times in 2018. He believes he is going to ‘go crazy’.  

“I am ready to go.”  I’m calm.  I’m composed.  I am cold to the core for this man and his whole situation.  I’m coming back with a vengeance, and I’m coming back with skill,” McGregor told TheMacLife.  “I am excited to demonstrate my skills.  “I’m in an excellent place mentally, physically and spiritually.”
