Conor McGregor is no longer competing in combat sports, but this hasn’t prevented him from achieving success outside the cage. Conor McGregor, former UFC two-division champion, made his first foray into acting and, despite mixed reviews, his movie was a big success.

The Notorious played a major role in the 2024 remake the 1989 cult classic Road House. Elwood Dalton, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, is a former UFC fighter now working as a roadhouse bouncer in the Florida Keys. His new life is turned upside down when he must use his fighting background to protect himself from the ruthless Knox.

Road House, which was released on Prime Video less than one month ago, has been a huge success. The film set a new record, attracting 50 million global viewers within its first two weekend of release. It was the biggest opening for Prime Video in its 18 year history.
