Despite claiming recently that the proverbial ship has “sailed” on a fourth clash with former three-time foe, Conor McGregor ahead of his title fight at UFC 302 this weekend, Lafayette veteran, Dustin Poirier now claims another clash could be possible, barely, in the future.

Poirier will be returning to action this coming weekend in New Jersey. He will headline UFC 302 and face the pound for pound champion, Islam Makhachev.

McGregor himself will end his almost three-year hiatus in the Octagon next month, in the main UFC 303 event. He will return to the welterweight division in a fight with Michael Chandler, who is soon to be his common enemy.
