Jon Jones was accused just days before of threatening the death of an anti-doping official who had come to his home for a regular drug test. Jones then took to Twitter to deny the reports. He claimed that Crystal Martinez was fabricating a story.
Jones stated in his statement: “Hello, everyone. I would like to correct some misinformation which has been spreading this morning.” “I woke to false reports that said I was arrested.”
“I’ve not been arrested. “I am in Texas right now with my daughters for a volleyball tourney.”
“It’s disappointing, but I know that my past may make me an easy target.”
