Khamzat, a middleweight who has never lost, wants to fight Robert Whittaker in UFC Saudi Arabia on June 10th, with a 10-round limit.
Chimaev improved his record to 13-0 last October, when he defeated Kamaru Usman, the former undisputed welterweight and pound for pound number one in an impromptu fight.
Whittaker returned from his knockout loss last summer to Dricus du Pleisis, the current champion with a decision victory in February over former title contender, Paulo Costa.
